Titanium binding peptides with various affinities.

A chimeric molecule is synthesized to consist of a titanium binding peptide, a short flexible linker peptide followed by a biological signal of choice.  In the case illustrated below, this is with an integrin binding RGDS domain used to adhere cells to a titanium surface.
